Components of three of Berlin’s most chic evenings, Gucci Goth + BL4CK M4G1CK + The Darkness, get together to assemble into something newer and greater than the sum of the parts: PURGE.
Opening up on their first night at the lovely Chez Jacki will be the people of Bruises (previously). Featuring members of Reliq and featuring also in equal parts inspiration and strange desolation, it’s kind of hard to put a finger/tendril/mucous membrane on what it is that they exactly do, but here’s a video intro giving you some idea…
Headlining on the night are the amazing HTRK out of Australia, right on the back of their brand new album Work, Work, Work out September this year. Pissed-off and sad and morbid and supremely quiet in their aggression, if you’re into the idea of seeing the most ultra-moody of post punk bands ever, HTRK are here for you.
Filling out the night finds DJs Easton West (Son of Cataclysm), BlackBlackGold (Gucci Goth), Tom Ass (The Darkness/Gegen) and xorzyzt (BL4CK M4G1CK).
